Christmas is over -now the work begins!

Now Christmas is over, and the art sales for this year. Now the work begins with the orders that are waiting and work for the three shows I have scheduled in 2011. So hang in there, soon you can see photos here from that work :-)

Today, I ignored the fever and took me to the studio. New faces have gone into the oven today. I think I met them all last week. Yes, I am pretty sure of that. This week I have meetings for a new exciting project but also meetings to complete a major project. A new year is on the way.And new faces :-)

What is it with me and all the faces?

However, I believe that I have met them all. They are all very real to me. But maybe they mean something entirely different to you? We interpret all different from our experiences, and that is something I really like with art.

Det börjar ramla in en massa coola alster till Hantverkstan. Nu packar vi upp och fixar tills på fredag då det är premiär. Lokalproducerat, unikt och kreativt!

Under the Boardwalk

Jag tror att denna sång får sammanfatta en otroligt rolig, intensiv och kreativ kurshelg. Detta är en av många låtar som snurrade i helgen. Lite moves och sång blev det också men framför allt jättefina alster som deltagarna gjorde.

Kurs i helgen!

Ja då sätter jag igång och röjer i verkstan och packar upp allt roligt material för helgens kurs! Det finns platser kvar om någon känner för att haka på. Kl 09.00 i morgon lördag kör vi igång i Mejeriet på Lantmannagatan 17. Hög kreativitet kan garanteras! Likaså kaffe och fritt snurrande av gamla LP skivor.

Trying to take a peek

Doing some experiments in the studio today. it can go any way but I´m hoping for success :-) The picture is between firing. Right now I´m trying to peek into the hole of the oven, trying to get a flash of the result. But I can´t see anything yet! Total frustration...

Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen...

Like Dollys song thats the way my days starts! But she doesn´t sing anything about coffee? I almost need that intravenous in the morning.

Well, today I got that start and began to phone all the people that I missed calls from yesterday(a day of meetings). Suddenly I realise that I missed a meeting at 10 o´clock! Sorry Lena! But we reschedule the meeting to later during the day. Informing her about the progress with the work in the shop me and BM are opening in november.

After that time in the studio to load a oven with glassart. During the time it took to get the oven in high temperatures I took some more pictures that soon will be in the webshop Mari Zidén Art :-)
